i am so disgusted with humanity right now. i've been disgusted for a while (most of my life?) but this certainly takes the cake. a plastic continent made out of our own garbage.

are you kidding me people? how the f*O# did it get to this?

if i weren't so aware of all the bloody carcinogens and chemicals racing through my bloodstream, clogging up my neurotransmitters that would help me to process this situation clearly, i would scream bloody murder. people! we are killing ourselves! LITERALLY! with all the crap that we buy, own, and use!

but i'm becoming pretty apathetic about our dwindling environmental situation and its havoc on our species because (hello, we are all going to die but it's looking like there are two options in the near future: 1) cancer and 2) diseases linked to sedentary lifestyles and the changing environment) of the deluge of shiny new tv shows about houses, cooking and good-looking white peoples' lives on the american tv networks.

now let's just all scurry back to our concrete & glass offices/houses and dream of more ways to get rich and screw everyone else, more ways to get more stuff so we can look better than everyone else and more ways to use the money we got from screwing people over to buy more stuff that we don't need because it makes us feel damn good.
